this is the adapter needed to connect the wiring for a s/m5x swap in to your e30 using a e36 m50 obd1 and most e34 obd1 harness to any e30 from 87-91 325i,is,ic or 318i,is,ic. also has the extra harness for the oil level sender in the oil pan so your obc will still work. also the main power lead so your abs will still work.

how can one adapter work for any e30 from 87-91 when we already know there are variations in all those years...? i mean shit, my 88 has different wiring than an 87 or 89...and thats just between 325i's.

only 3 wires are needed to start/run a m50 the rest is for oil level, abs, cel, coolant gauge ect...same type of deal as the other company's they only sells one for 87-91.
out of curiosity do you remember exactly what was different with your cars adapter and others? pin locations or wire colors?
