So is it still possible to order some? I'd like Posters 11, 21, 22 & 34.
Thanks,
Ben

The back story on these is I spent some time scouring German Ebay buying the original posters. There was no PayPal yet so I would send Euros to the seller and hope I got a poster. Amazingly, I never got stiffed. I usually paid $75 to $100 per poster. Yes, I have some amazing BMW collectibles including DTM hero cards, old Schnitzer crew suits, etc.
With the posters in hand, in 1995 I worked with Mark Amarandos, also an E30 M3 owner and I sent all of my posters to him and a buddy of his scanned each one high res. Each poster was scanned in two halfs and with photoshop stiched back together. It cost about $40 per poster to get them scanned. With the high res scans in hand, Mark sold discs to E30 M3 SIG members, selling about 130 discs to recoup the scanning costs.
Once the discs went out, we started to see copies sold in German and US Ebay. Early on before the discs proliferated a disc sold for $89 on Ebay. The goal was to make it easier for E30 enthusiasts to get their hands on paper copies of these amazing vintage posters. From that end, we succeded. Personally, the value of my poster collection dropped, but that's OK.
When we made the disc, large format color printers were not as good as they are now. The prints being made now are just as good as the original posters I have in hand. To be able to tell the difference between an original and a copy, we put a sublte water mark on each poster that is on the disc. Unless you know what to look for, you can't see the watermark.
For anyone that wants to buy the DVD disc on Ebay, there are both JPEG and TIFF versions of each file on the disc. I don't sell the DVD, but they come up on German or US Ebay from time to time.
