In as well. These are just what I need for my vert. Nothing says clean vert like a set of "alpinas" and a bit of low.

To start the wheel never was intended for the e30, and when mounted the back of the wheel grinds on the front brakes. So the only "fix" for it is to either grind down the brake pads or grind down the back side of the wheel. Now after paying good money for a wheel that is supposed to fit the e30 your customers are stuck using grinding tool either fix your wheels or mod their brake pads every time they get a brake job to keep them from scraping on the wheels.

We were made aware of the rubbing issue and addressed it by explaining that some after market brake pads were thicker than OEM pads and this could cause some rubbing on the front wheels especially with new pads.
A very small spacer or minor grinding of the front pad backing plate edge took care of the problem.
BTW-we sold a few hundred sets of these wheels and only had 2 or 3 customers mention the rubbing issue.

as far as the OEM pads and aftermarket pads go, i would say that is more of a cover for the fact that you sold a wheel with a issue. now when you are advertising a wheel that fit an e30 and needing to grind or use a spacer is two different things.

FYI-we never knew about the rubbing issue until we saw it on the messageboard.
As I said, we only had 2 or 3 complaints out of the hundreds of wheels we sold.
They were resolved by the customers grinding down the front brake pad backing plate edges very slightly, so it was not a big issue.

Well played Mel! I don't know why so many guys on this forum give you shit. Anyone who supports the e30 community deserves a little break. Several of my friends back in the PNW rode these wheels and loved them. NO PROBLEMS with the so called rubbing! I have been waiting for them to come back on the market for over a year.
Mel let me know when they arrive I defiantly want a set.
