    well i'm running factory exhaust minus a muffler, so idk how much louder i want to go...but still interested. can't wait to hear your setup

      LOL what is a universal test pipe in your mind? A piece of exhaust pipe that for $35-$55?

      The OP is going to make a whole front exhaust section that is BOLT IN. Comparing this to a "universal test pipe" is like comparing an apple and a hamburger.

        okay...update.

        went to the shop yesterday and the quote would be over $400 for a complete bolt up. What we decided to do is a y pipe into a 2.5 pipe then back out in a y pipe with factory flanges so the cat back could still be bolted up.

        the flanges that would have to be made and the piping alone was a couple of hundred.

        I ordered the pipes and it goes in maybe wednesday or thursday.
