You could feasibly machine a bracket to adapt the FC rear calipers, but they are a sliding caliper just like the E30 so there would be no benefit.

I have seen people use the newer caliper with this kit also.

They bolt up, but the pistons are considerably larger which will really screw up your front/rear bias.

Thanks for the orders everyone! This run of brackets is sold out but I am taking orders for the next batch which should be ready to ship by the middle of next week.

What would be the downside to this while street driving?

If you brake really hard the front skids out before the rear...

You also might start to wear out your front tires quicker

How much does a full kit usually work out to?
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

I spent well under $300 on my kit.

I have to fish out the reciepts.

                        What he said ^^

Pedal travel will also be increased as the master cylinder needs more travel to fill caliper the same amount.

uh oh, then we would have to upgrade yet another part ;D . Its an never ending obsession. I definitely will want to upgrade to this though once I can get my sr20 swap underway.

I got mine last week and the machine work is top notch.

My bbk kit has cost me $162 for the bracket kit and calipers. Add $150 for rotors and pads and it will cost about $300. Problem I've come to realise is the kit drastic lowers wheel selection. :(

what size wheels do you have to run to clear the calipers? 16s?
