According to the email I recieved, mine is despatched for 07/03/2011. It sucks that it's going to be that long. Did these things really fly off the shelves that fast?

That means he is shipping it out today. Thats international date format. Sorry if you already understand that but I made the same mistake myself the first time he sent me an email.

just a quick question, Les email'd me saying i'd need a different strut?? and that the rear wouldn't go as low as a late model. anyone have a picture of an early model on these coilovers? preferably with the rear settled.

The rear wont look as low because of the late model has lower arches in the rear. The strut information is incorect I think he thought you had the older 3 series.

As for pictures of early models there are some on the first page of this thread.

ordered my coilovers 2/28 they were @ my house today. 10 days. not bad at all. as mentioned before the paint on the struts are very thin and have multiple chips already but who the fuck cares. i will let you guys know how i like em. ill have em in my car once my entire rear end has been changed lol

Why not just powder or paint them before install? Spray bomb 'em some engine enamel.. might be better than chipped paint. Little extra protection.
