Yes. My dad always wears gloves on his e46 m3 ZCP's wheel. It gets super dirty very fast, and either wears through or peels off and just looks like shit. BMW ///M lambskin gloves feel great and they're like 40 bucks at a dealership.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

                wears easy?.....define easy?..

i run a suede wheel on a track car that i drive to the track.....after 4 yrs w/ one brand it still looked very good. Depends on your use...your hands, natural oils...filth etc......

but overall...suede on a DD..not a great idea....and they get sun bleached as well. Momo suede is not the best...but its a great wheel. I've run Momo, and Sparco and Personal....oh, OMP too.
I love sitting down and just driving!

Do any of these guys have an alcantara option? That would probably resist wear better no?

                    hey D...

Alcantara has its own set of issues.

Ive seen alot of them pill/fray over time.

Suede is fine..if you just take care...clean hands...cover wheel in direct sun etc. etc..but again for a DD..it will give you only a few really good years. Mine really did look good after 5 yrs, it was a Personal...Momo skin is not as nice/plush. I have a Mo now....
