Way to add to this thread.....

These coilovers look great. I am very interested in this group buy. Anyone have any installed pictures of these coils? Curious as to how low these will go. Also has it been stated what spring rates we will be able to choose from, like what increments and such they go up and down in?

I ship pallets daily at my job and as long as the pallet is a normal 48x40 pallet we can ship it anywhere in the USA for a flat rate. So I would think that even though it is international shipping, it is a general flat rate for a generic size pallet.

Keep us posted, I am truely interested in these coilovers.

So basically we don't need the core but they would come as complete front spindles/setup? Correct?

if you're looking to save money and don't really care about the actual suspension that much, then yeah.

Interesting. My only hold up is when you add a decent coilover set you are almost at 1500 and can get the GCs... hrmmm

True, once you add camber plates you are close. However with these you don't have to worry about modifying your strut housing, plus everything is under warranty where with GC the strut housing and modification are not. Unless you pay to have them do it which puts you pretty well over the price of these.

                            I mean camber plate. Sorry.

With all that said what are the rates? If they are decently stiff combined with Konis should be ready for the track with some nice camber plates.

The rates are being looked into at this time, that was one of my first questions also.

If you are worried about price difference here is what I figured and why I am leaning towards FK suspension. GCs without strut modification will run you 1500, then if you have GC modify the housings, they will run you 1710 plus shipping, so around 1800. These coilovers are 1200 shipped, plus camber plates which if you get BNIB GC camber plates they are 340, used camber plates come up all the time so they can be had cheaper. So you are looking at about 1600 with all new parts. So you save 200 and have a complete warranty on everything.

Not saying GCs are a bad product, I have had them on one of my old civics and loved them. I am just looking to try out a product that seems to have all the great things that GCs come with for a little cheaper price tag, and will save me from having down time on my car while the strut housings are being modified.
