My status is unchanged as well. Gonna be bummed out if this stuff does not get here in time to make it under the tree. Especially since the other GB I backed out of started delivery this week!

I know the first status doesn't change until it's in the US, but damn this is much longer than the promised (payed for) 5-6 days. A couple of them might have been sent out the 12th at latest, still too long though.

found this statement on what it means:
"Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" means that the postal service in the country its being sent from is dealing with it.
As Royal Mail's tracker says its in the US - the item is probably actually somewhere in between (i.e: on a plane, ship, or port holding facility).

Bear in mind, that if the item was sent by Royal Mail's surface registered service, it can take up up to six weeks to arrive. The air registered service will take about 5 days. Check which service they used to despatch it from the UK.

Its also possible that USPS hasn't updated the tracker - I've heard of items getting delivered before the tracker even recognises it in the US!


It shouldn't get lost, but registered mail means you are entitled to compensation if worst comes to worst!

Yea, I'm surprised it shows even that, since they told me it couldn't be tracked and the domestic post tracker says the shipment numbers don't exist at all.

mine came today but dumb post office didn't leave it on porch and they are closed. Hopefully I can get it tomorrow
