83,84, and some 85s had different keys. So basically almost every e30 sold in the United States will be able to use the new kit with out having to worrying about getting the keys cut properly.

Awesome, ill be down for the mk4 style fob when it's available.

Well actually 4 styles. The e46 style key, the mk4 VW style key, and two different non key fobs. Sending my payment in tomorrow. Should be 4-6 weeks to fill my order. Just in time for the holidays. Until then I'll be broke.
