Im running into issues with seat belt placement since the seat tracks of the e36 are wider. Its kind of a hassle. At this rate i am not sure if i will be making a run of these for the public just yet. Need to find a safe way to relocate the lower seat belt mounts. Which in turn can cause serious safety issues. Im going to keep working at it. And if i feel confident in something to give it to ppl withoit fear of killing them i will sell them i will keep u all posted. If nothing else i might offer up the templetes if ppl want to make their own. Then i am no longer liable for anything lol. I do appologize if i got any hopes up. Assumed this would be simpler then it was. Seat is i swing no problem secure and everything. Only problem is seat belts.Comment

Not sure if you've seen this, but this guy got around the seat belt rail thing and it's a very clean solution. There's also a nice template on there.
I would do this myself but I have no experience welding... if you made these I would definitely be in for a set.1990 BMW 325i CoupeComment

I also sell the shortened seat belt anchors but honestly I do not recommend drilling a hole through your floor board. This is why my 2dr bracket set is built different than the 4dr brackets I sell.
On the driver side there are 3 metal fuel lines right where you have to drill through to mount the shortened anchor not to mention you are introducing a place for rust to develop in your floorboard.Comment

Well I havent had much time to look into seat belt anchor alternatives. I still want to get something figured out for these. Its really a matter of time though. My e30 kinda took a shit on me. Both of my front struts decided to blow out at the same time. And i dont really have the funds to keep it that low and it be right. so for the time being im going to bring her back to stock ride height until i can afford a set of coilovers and camber plates. I will keep u guys filled in once i make some progress on these. I might have to bump the price up a little as it is taking a little more effort then i thought to make these. but it wouldnt be by much. I will let u all know. thanks for being patient with me :)Comment

wow those brackets look just like mine.... or i guess mine look like his lol. Im trying to make a new belt anchor from scratch. So its one solid piece. not welded together pieces. also trying to mount it securely without having to drill holes in your floor. so they will be strong enough to withstand a collision.Comment
