Please count me in on the next e30 header purchase, your setup looks great from below.
Can you post an engine compartment pic of the header? ThanksLeave a comment:

$250 deposit may be doable. Looks like I need to hit the casino.Leave a comment:

Assuming I get things sorted out within the next little while, by the time the list builds up and I start taking deposits it'll probably be mid-December and the deposit is only ~$250. Save those pennies!
I'm in the process of sorting out some of the application details for the other models of headers that will hopefully be available this next time around. Hopefully I'll have the details sorted out soon.Leave a comment:

If the next round is mid-January I'll be in for a set. Unfortunately won't be able to cut it until then.Leave a comment:

I used similiar clamps in the pic and I haven't had any issues as of yet... fingers crossedLeave a comment:

I was reading up and it looks like Permatex makes a cooper paste or some sort of RTV thats used to seal slip on exhausts on motorcycles. I might try it out.Leave a comment:

Yeah, mine leak till the headers get real hot. I have big black streaks where they slip together. I have never had much luck with SS band clamps, but I am ready to try it on that junction.Leave a comment:

Just had a chance to install the headers, pretty straightforward. I did not find that there was any loss of low end torque, I feel the power delivery is smoother all the way. Before, you could feel the car reved harder after 4k rpms, now its more even all the way. I only have a MarkD chip.
My main problem is that I have an exhaust leak where the headers connect to the mid-pipes. I am not sure how tight those clamps need to be and dont want to completely crush the pipes to where they will not be able to be removed anymore.
Was I supposed to use some sort of copper paste on the pipes? I installed them without using anything, maybe that's why they leak. Some pictures below:
