        would 225/45/17 work on sport springs? I recall seeing it as possible, even 235/40/17.

            Back in the day when my buddy had these, he had 215/45/17 and the front scraped the fender lip at full lock. He was lowered on bavauto springs. When I had his wheels on my car (h&r sports) it did the same thing.

                                                        So is everyone for the 17" wheel going for the 215/40/17 tire size? Seems selection is pretty slim for this size. I don't want the stretched out look either. Was hoping to try out the new Michelin Super Sports, since they are about the same price as the Star Specs...
