    Not to threadshit, but most people here just use a paperclip.

            Yup. I tested it on a few and it seems as long as it has the large diagnostic port under the bonnet you are good :)

              I've always used a piece of old wire, but I can never remember the pins and I hate fucking with it. This idea is cool as shit.

                        Cool concept. I actually read somewhere that there is a very slight possibility to shit your wiring(?) or break something if one uses a paper clip, how true is that? TBH it was just one random guy on a forum who could have been an idiot.

                        If it is this is a cool alternative.

                          I guess if you were not making good contact and letting it spark/jump it could short it out? Maybe? Seems unlikely.

                            Hmm.. Maybe buy and modify to jump pins 11-14 to kick the engine over when doing a valve adjustment.
