I'll chime in with some intel and some opinion.
Intel: I talked to Compomotive a couple months ago. They did not have any TH1680 wheels available. The next batch will be made around mid year 2015. I will be waiting until then to buy a set.
Opinion: These are limited production wheels, and I doubt they would ever find there way into a group buy. Group buys are more for high volume production items. The exception being if someone was willing to purchase an entire production run, and then parcel it out. Slim chance of that... So, the only realistic way to get a set of these is to buy them direct from Compomotive at list price. (Guessing about $1200 + shipping for 4)
The best thing to do now is to contact Compomotive and tell them you are interested in a set of Th1680's 4x100 ET25 BMW fitment. It is important they know there is demand, otherwise there is the possibility they won't even do a production run next year. So please make some noise in their inbox. The group aspect of this buy will just be to get a production run.
