I messaged the APEX rep on Bimmerforums, he said there was a group buy starting but it relied on interest.

Hi,

Looking for info on a group buy for ARC-8 17x8 4-lug. There is a thread currently started on R3vlimited under group buy.

It seems to have been started by another member, but there has been no update as to whether it is a legit group buy.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Currently, we are waiting to see what kind of demand there is. With enough demand, we will move forward with the Group Buy. One of our dealers, Speed Freaks, is actually going to be the ones
that will be leading the Group Buy for the 17" ARC-8's in the 4x100 lug pattern.

Thanks for checking with Apex. I was going to do it this week if we had no updates. I think we might have a bit of 'chicken or the egg'. I suspect people on r3v want to know the price before committing, but Apex wants to see interest before pricing. Ha.

I don't think there will be any problem getting 20 or 25 guys together. We all have a general idea where pricing will fall and there's probably more than a few guys who want a spare wheel so we should be able to do it. I say post this over in the general forum also
