m20 Stromung exhaust GB INTEREST THREAD

hey guys, yea ive already emailed Scott to get a price range for how many people we can get. and ill talk to him and see about the whole getting the product out in a timely matter if we do get this GB going. ill post up with his response as soon as i get it.

It's been a couple of years since Robert (the guy next door to Stromung) put a M20 GB together, but, as Einstein pointed out, it took Scott (Stromung) quite some time to follow through and get orders filled. Robert took a lot of flak for something out of his hands, if I recall correctly.

Bottom line (from a few years ago, unless things have changed) is that Stromung basically builds his exhausts 1 at a time, by hand. The reason I quoted your response, Henna, was to tell you to order directly from Stromung if you want your exhaust any time soon. (Again, unless things have changed over at Stromung)

Great sounding exhaust and quality-built. I'd be interested in seeing what his price would be on a GB.

I'm the same, really depends on the price, but I would love to replace my straighpipe with something a little more subtle

Its hard to commit without knowing the price. I would be in if the saving was significant. A symbolic 10-15% discount wouldn't do it for me.

I do recall a group buy with them ending up taking two years for them to make them once payment was received. And the person who organised it was in the shop next door. Food for thought.

I was shopping around for a good exhaust setup for my e30/m20 and came across Stromung. good reviews, nice sound, great quality. so instead of just buying one myself, i thought i would email Stromung and see if we could get a GB going like the 318 guys did just recently and save some of us some monies. :mrgreen:

so with that, id like to see who all would be seriously interested in this GB. like Scott said in his email, the more the better. so please if your really serious about joining this please post up and let me know. after about a week we will see how many people we have and see what discount we can get on that group.
