So anyway, I found a rear trailing arm on Craigslist for like 60 dollars so I'll buy that and assemble it with m3 rear calipers and the z4 hubs and see how it all lines up

Since I organized the group buy I guess I sort of have a side to this whole story?
I stumbled upon the thread where nasieg was liquidating the parts, really liked what he had machined, and wanted some for myself. I contacted him about the possibility of a group buy. Then though effective and frequent communication between myself, nasieg and the R3v community we were able to make it happen. Just like how it is supposed to work. During the process nasieg told me the same story of how he ended up in the position he was in.
The R3v community as a whole is super important to me, and half the reason I like these silly cars. I have learned so much, and have access to parts and insight that otherwise would make it impossible to have my cars, all thanks to R3v. I would just like to be a contributing member of the community! The Lineup in order of appearance:

If you want to wait a couple of months I could tell your for sure lol but I've read that the E46 M3 rotor is a bit too far inboard and will rub on the caliper bracket. But you can just shim the bracket to fix that. I've also read that the Z4 bracket is 2.5mm more outboard than the E30 M3 hub, so maybe Z4 hubs and E46 M3 brakes will work without modification. Idk lol but I'm going to make it work. Rongineer, the guy who designed the kit, says he is using E46 M3 brakes front and rear.
Do you have a good source for the z4 hubs?sigpic

You can use z4 hubs. It adds 2.5mm instead of 5mm like on the e30 m3. Since the adapter is made for the e30 m3, you need to add 2.5mm rotor spacer to bring it to e30 m3 specs.
To elcoy, I think this would be beneficial to your sale if you add 2.5mm rotor spacer for people who want to go z4 rear hub route. z4 hubs can be bought off of salvage yards/ebay/car-parts for less than 150 for a pair.Comment

Would something like this work? or do i need something that's similar to a wheel spacer? (that goes between the rotor and hub)Comment
