The manufacture won't accept production with just a just a few missing names? I think they'd be understanding looking at the time this group buy has been going for.

I would like that as I'm sure anyone here would. Unfortunately they are a business just like Abraham Motorsports. Both need to guarantee a profit in this ordeal. The quickest solution I see is someone with deeper pockets buying multiple sets and then selling them slowly for a profit. Not going to be me though...
