Received mine on Friday and fitted yesterday. Thanks again for doing a run for the M42's I've been looking for a strut brace in this style that fit's for some time. I'll post a pic shortly too

Yea just about, maybe a little more, 5/8-3/4 inch, but its Plenty. Its alot closer to the plastic cover behind it, less than a 1/4inch.

Did some "tests" after I installed it and theres no signs of any clearance/rubbing issues!

received and installed. Looks great.
One note: I had to remove the bracket that grabs/holds the accelerator cable because it interfered with the strut bar. (This is for M42 / 318is)
