I want them stiff but I'm not sure what rate I want at the moment but you can count me in on a set of the true rear coils

I am in for a standard setup. I've been eyeing these up for a while and watching them come in and out of stock, but this has finally pushed me over the edge

Perhaps try to find a friend with Springs or coilovers so you can get a better idea on spring rates. I don't want you to be disappointed either having too stiff or not stiff enough. But 10k front and 12k rear is quite stiff, especially being true rear. I was previously on 8k 10k and not true rear and was still plenty stiff.

12k for true rears will snap your spinal column........I'm currently having another brand of coils custom built for my car, it'll be primarily drifting, excessive chassis modifications and I'm running 11k/7K.

True coils on e30 are spring on shock, mounted at the furthest point of the pendulum swing, your rates aren't going to be anywhere close to what you'd run with at the stock spring seat location.

I was thinking 12k was going to be high but trust me it's very nice. At full soft the car is actually comfortable. A lot has to go with how the shocks are valved.

My friend has 16k 18k broadway static coils on his e46 m3 and they are stiff but it's not outrageous.

E46 still uses the divorced spring setup like e30s which nearly cuts the spring rate in half. Also remember the e30 is a lighter chassis.

After talking with Igor due to it being a group buy he cannot offer custom rates since the whole premise is to order a bunch to keep costs down so we can offer you guys better pricing, also with custom Springs would mean the shocks need to be revalaved to match. Sorry.

If you're still interested though I will put you down for a set!

Im in for a set of standard. Am I correct in reading that for an extra $120 they can be shipped to me pre-welded?

                        Awesome!

That's correct but you will need to send in your oem strut housings. If you have a Sawzall just chop em a few inches from the bottom and they should fit in a usps large flate rate box.
