If anyone else has issues getting the cat to mid section to seal I ended up using a Walker 31391 gasket.

Update from someone who ordered one of each.

Scott acknowledged both orders a couple weeks ago. He emailed me for a deposit on the 325 system 10 days ago. Have not received a req for deposit on the 318 system yet.

You shouldn't technically need one on an M42, but mine mid pipe wasn't quite at the right angle to make the ball seat seal work, thus the gasket.

I got the same email today for the 325 system.

No word on the 318 system yet. I asked him for an update on that.
