IL must be cracking down on stuff now? When i lived in decatur i had a Dakota with a 3.9v6 with pure straight pipes no cats or mufflers. The cops never said a thing :o..

Tint Law-IMPOUND
So I have some light tints on my car in the front windows(like 50% maybe) and I know that it is illegal, but thought it was just a ticket. I was wrong. So I am at Joliet Junior College buying my books, and come out to my car (I park in the handicap spot because I have the tags for it) and see a cop starring me and my buddy down. We get in the car and start rolling, and he follows. Me starting to get nervous pull into the first parking spot I see...he pulls right behind me. He waits for us to get out of the car only to ask if we were in the handicap spot. I told him yes, he asked if I have a tag and if it is mine, I say yes and then he asks about my tints. He asked if I knew that they were illegal in the state of Illinois, and I said no, I didn't. He tells me to come closer and then tells me that last week a new law passed saying that all cars caught with the front windows tinted are to be impounded! He proceeds to show me all of the paperwork backing this up. I tell him that I will take them off today then, and he said that I shouldn't be surprised if my car isn't there next time I come out if I leave them on. He let me go though. Cool cop, but bad news. So I just pulled them off and I already don't like the look. I don't know if this is just a Joliet law, or what, just thought I would give you guys some warning.

That sucks, i got 5% on my 85. IL also passed another law lately that you can't have any kind of license plate cover, clear or not they are illegal now. And back to the thread, can't wait to see the next shirt.

Your order will be shipped out the end of next week with the next batch of shirts. As stated, special colors take a little more time to ship out cause their made to order.
