    Feeler: Moonroof Install Instructions

I have received a crap load of PM's since I posted my "new in box moonroof" thread. Most of these PM's have been requesting copies of the instruction manual/part list. Basically I see 2 options here.

    1. I photocopy the book on a standard photocopier. 2pages per page and stapled in the corner. I already did this and the pictures didnt come out very good, however, they are kinda crappy in the OEM book anyway. This would be like $10 shipped per person just to cover the cost of the ink cartridge and a thing of paper (10 pages per packet)

    2. Take it to a print shop and have them copy it on nice paper with a top quality printer so that the pics come out better, double sided printing... basically it would be a book just like the Original BMW one. I would think $15-$20 shipped for this.

Up to you guys. Do you even want one? This book was last revised 10/87 and states it is for the 325,325e,325es but I don't believe there is any difference in any of the e30 factory installed sunroofs.

Bring it to a print shop and have them scan and make you a cd. That way you can upload it to your computer and share. I dont think anyone wants to pay... for the fact that they dont have the glassmoonroof or never will. Just a thought. If you do, im sure everyone would appreciate. Especially if them have or find one. Thanks.

I would pay for a copy, I'm going to be doing the install soon. Better quality would be worth the extra money in my book.

I would moreso just go out to the garage and start swapping before I would pay more than $1. Sorry bro.

Yes, I agree. It would be super messed up not to just get it scanned and share.
I'm sure we could scrape some $$ together as a one time fee... like $10?

Send it to me - I'd me more than happy to scan it, send it back, and then host it here on the R3v servers.

It would still be cool to have a copy of the original documentation, no matter how hard or easy the install is.

ill send you a copy for free for a consultation... lol

well anyway... I could senda copy to mr. graves to host on r3v...well if he agrees to build me a custom cluster when I get my standalone hooked up. Just figured people would want their own copy. I know I would. particularly considering the crap load of pm's and emails I got about the thing.

its a lot more than that if you are going from a non glass roof and want it to function as oem. extra sliders and spring to retract the shade. Enough cutting that BMW saw fit to include a cut off wheel in the kit.

Pdf + printer = own copy.

Even better would be a thread in E30 FAQ and DIY with a write up with pics and links to the documentation.
