so school me on the effects it'll have on my stock suspension if I were to install these. Would it be noticable harsher?

It won't be any harsher than the suspension setup you have, it will just make it a little bit lower.

but in term of the rebound.. I would assume that it would be easier for me to bottom out since the spring is raised above the normalcy of the strut?

it would be easier for the strut to bottom out but with stock springs i don't think they could compress enough to bottom out.
