    The George Graves G-Gauge

Just a quick review of a very slick product offered by george graves. I bought the voltmeter version of this gauge and I could not be happier with the product! Firstly I should say that George was a pleasure to deal with, and I would absolutely do business with him again.

    The Gauge

The quality of the product is absolutely top notch! I am a little wary of buying products, especially electronics from forum members but my fears proved to be completely unjustified. The circuitry and soldering look to be excellent, though I am not an electronics expert. And the front cover is crystal clear, put it side by side with an old hazard switch, the difference is incredible! Not sure how he does it.

    The Install

This is where George's product stands above every other aftermarket part I think I have ever purchased for my e30's. To describe the instructions in one word I would say "complete" is probably best. Such as simple product being basically a 2 wire hook-up I was astonished to find the instructions to be longer and more detailed than what I recieved with suspension components or my P'n'P megasquirt setup. Someone who has never done an oil change could probably follow these instructions and wind up with a properly installed gauge. If you have an aftermarket deck it is even easier to install because ground and ACC should be labelled on the wiring for the deck. I just traced those wires to where they met up with the chassis wiring and used the quick splices as suggested.

    Summary

An extremely cool and very proffessional looking product that could be installed by ANYONE following the fantastic directions. I have nothing but great things to say about this product and applaud George for making stuff like this for fellow enthusiast's.

Have any other pictures of the gauge installed? I'm trying to get a good idea of what they look like. Day and night would be great.

Sorry I totally forgot. They didn't really turn out but I hope this helps. I also took one with the car off so you can get an idea of what the gauge looks like when it isn't lit up.

THAT is what impressed me most, by far. I got three gauges from George, and I couldn't believe the level of professionalism that he packs into these products. The install instructions are detailed and complete, and everything from the gauges themselves to the bags they come in are professionally labeled and marked.

I was thoroughly amazed by the product he puts out. His communication was fantastic, and for a custom part the delivery was very very timely.

Just received my voltmeter Monday and installed it in twenty minutes. Pleasure doing business with George Graves, from pre-purchase questions all the way down to installing a slick volt meter. Gauge looked like it was built from BMW assembly line, straight OEM look Instructions were very detailed. I would not hesitate to buy any of his products.

Thanks George Graves, the e30 community is lucky to have you as a member.

You should put your hazard switch in between the other two. Looks like the hvac system button over powers the brightness at night.
