Who knows the name and contact information of the company that produced these for us?
I want my money back, fucking now.
I took one look at it the day it arrived, and decided it was junk then and there. I tossed it in my closet until today.
Upon closer inspection is is 100x junk. Fucking GARBAGE!
The little lip it is supposed to mount with hardware to is a joke, and 1 whole edge of that lip cracked clean off on mine because it was so fucking thin! The plastic they put into the mold was (quite seriously) paper thin on one whole side, with only the hardened foam coating to keep it in shape. Light actually passed through it with hardly any restriction. As soon as I tried to attach hardware the foam split and took that mounting lip off with it.
I have a lip that is completely fucking worthless now, and many hours spent with prep work. It took me about ~4 hours worth of sanding and reshaping to smooth out the fucking ocean on the face of it, not to mention all the craters caused by a shitty mold. That and the top of it had a hefty ridge from a mold seam. In the end I have a "super flexible lip" that is made null by the overly ridgid foam on the back of it. Even if it were to flex the plastic filler I had to use to smooth out the front face of it is going to crack off the first time it flexes!!
Lets not forget that the lip is also 1/4 in or so too short on one side, and it isn't even the right shape (has to be forced into the proper shape) that means any paint that goes on it will be stressed once mounted. Flexible lip + stressed paint = chipped cracking paint.
I want my money back. :tsk:
