    Mtech II cloth fabric

Ordered this stuff from ejohnson over at e30tech, don't know if its sold here or not, but here is the difference between whats in a 20 year old mtech and what you get new.

To be perfectly honest with you, I don't even think mine is faded, the top of my rear seat is faded, I think the bottom is close to original, I just think they made the cloth to dark. He has a tread of all the cars his customers have done and they all look darker than all the mtechs I've seen for sale. Mine in the pic was dirty, I've since cleaned it and it looks better. At any rate I bought the fabric to have shoes made so it doesn't bother me :-)

tilt your seat all the way forward or backward and have a look at the fabric that has been wedged between the seat bottom and seat back, hidden by the sun for 20 years. I'd bet you that the fabric in that little wedge is darker than the fabric on your seat bottoms/back.

Good idea, I'll check first thing in the morning. I still doubt it will be as dark as the replica fabric.

How many yards would you need to do 4 vert seats?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30
