    Zymol cleaner wax

I have been a Maguires top line fan for a long time but after reading all the posts on zymol I picked up some cleaner wax.
I cant stand it. Powdery flakey mess.

I went over it with regular maguires cleaner wax and its 100% better.

Are you talking about the made by TurtleWax Zymol? Or the real stuff?

is it from Walmart? usually those are the cheap end ones, if you order the legit ones from Bav Auto or wherever, quality is a lot better, never had that issue with it being flaky

I think you are waiting too long to wipe it off. The proper way to use that wax is apply, then immediately buff if off. I had the same problem you described when I applied wax to the whole car before buffing...got powder everywhere.

Also you might be using too much product.

How did you apply it? Waxes and sealants must always be applied as thin as possible. Sometimes to the point that you can barely see what you're putting on.
