Why didn't you completely install it before you took pics? The rear pieces should be under the boot lid...

Yeah I know these are the pics they sent me, to show me what they came up with. I think it needs to be redesigned but we will see.

That is almost exactly the same as the one that was offered on e-bay -

It sits exactly like that, the tabs do not go under the boots lid.

It's the little pegs that come out on the other side that stick into the seat belt hole....

For what I payed for it, it's good.. and well worth it..

But a proper re-design would probably be the smartest idea.. I would buy another one if the design was a little better thought out (ie where the tabs are, how they fit into the seat belt hole, etc)

Are you sure? The oem one is the same way, but the hooks for the seatbelt holes are on sliders. You hook the front 2 and then pull the entire assembly back and under the top cover, then close the top cover. Seems silly they'd do part of the design but not the whole thing.

The OEM one is quite different.. same concept, but the design is entirely not.

The OEM one extends further back and contours the rear seats a lot better ..

The one in question is the same as the one I have... I am 99% sure that it was just another company that branded this design..

I have not really messed with it as I have been busy. I might buy one of the ones off ebay, redesign it and just take it to him and say here is what I need. Build me 10.

Can you post up some pics of this? From the ebay link the windscreen look really flimsy and the rear piece does not look like it follow the contour line of the rear seat.
