    Corbeau CR1

There seem to be a shortage of review, and good unbiased review at that.

So I have the Corbeau CR1, have it about a year now.

Pros - hugs you really nice on the turns, drop in fit, and it fills the cabin quite nicely. Fitment is A+ , sits nice and low for tall people like me.

Cons - bracket is flimsey, make sure you get the U shape bracket when you purchase or they will give you the single stick one, which is pretty not user friendly.

    Notes:

1.) when I was shopping I notice alot of poeple like the TRS as well, the fabric they use for the TRS fades. I've seen multiple forum having the black cloth fade to a different color.
2.) the cloth they use for the center sucks in humidity, since I ahve a cab, I occasionally see water spot on the black cloth, with no signs water. I also have the whole interior reupohlster with teh corbeau black cloth to match and other places that simply does not have possible water issue also have water spots. Nothing a little fabric cleaner wont cure.

+1 on the double locking slider/mounts. I got them with my TRS seats, and they are pretty solid.

after sitting in other seats, the corbeau trs and cr1, aka all the reclining versions of corbeau. They dont sink in as much as sparco or recaro fix backs. Like when you sit down in a sparco and recaro, it feels like yo udrop into a bucket, and the corbeau just doesnt feel too restriction and bucket feel near the hips.

Just picked up a lone CR1 as a track seat so I can sit lower. Haven't fabbed up brackets yet, but the seat fits very well and seems to be pretty good quality. How did you guys go about mounting them?

Using the Corbeau double locking sliders. I am disappointed in how high the seat sits. Not for daily driving but at the track with helmet on it's a little tight on headroom. I'm 6' tall so not short, but not out of the ordinary either.

As far as the actual seat goes now that I have some lumbar support dialed in I am loving it. I have been experimenting with different stuff in the lumbar area and I have a small inflatable camping pillow in there now. it works for me. I am going to buy the Corbeau lumbar support that goes in there where you can inflate/deflate with an external bulb.

I have had the seat for one track day and the lateral support is great. Also used it on a number of long drives, longest was 3 hours, and it is solid.
