    water jet....

My brother in law runs a water jet and I have made parts for 02s. I was wondering if there is a certain product you would like to see for e30s that can be made on a water jet. It can cut just about any thickness and type of material.

If anyone has any ideas let me know and I will see what I can do.

is it sad or good that I can't think of anything I'd want made for these old shitboxes?

This is my all time favorite answer... For oh so many reasons.

I can't think of a job on an e30 that requires opposable thumbs or anything that needs brackets or reinforcements that couldn't be cut by a drunken pirate with a wooden arm.

Yes but water jets are pretty cool.

OP if you want to get anywhere with this (and in life) go join an e46 or e90 forum (trust me on this one).

e46 and e90 like lots of reinforcements?

I can't think of anything for the e30 to make either but thought I would post and ask.

I made 5 speed mount brackets and rear disc brake brackets for 2002s.

Well something that bothers me and is a common problem. How about some interior door handles? Aluminum? I hate these little plastic pieces!! Mine break every so often when people get a bit rough with them when not realizing their elbow has pushed the lock down during transport. Don't ask me why they pull harder when the door does not open? I don't have a issue on my side of the car but somehow my BMW is a piece of shit because they can't operate a simple door lock/handle properly...

Wheel Spacers? if you can make them cheaper than the competition. Might not be that hard if you're resourceful on the materials since there's only a handful of manufacturers. Plus you can market them to so many groups(e30/2002/Honduh/etc) but of course our's has to be hubcentric. ;)

not cnc, it cuts flat stock but with high pressure water. Yes he will do one offs

I have had spacers made, but they cannot be hub centric, so smaller than 5-7mm, which you can buy dirt cheap anyway.

exhuast flanges are dead easy, if people would be interested in them. I know they are sold now but what are the prices?
