Longevity? Or should I say time between rebuilds of the SC unit. Are they DIY rebuild or do they need to be factory rebuilt ie kits are not available to general public?Leave a comment:

Well during normal everyday driving and cruising around you will actually see about 2 more mpg than what you're getting now. Especially on the highway. With spirited driving you will probably see between 18 and 19 mpg. With more boost comes more fuel, so if you run a Stg 3 it will be less than that.
it will be a while before i can really consider an SC anyway, but thats ok since this stage 4 system is being developed :twisted:Leave a comment:

You're very welcome.
Osh and I are in the process of putting together a stg 4 setup.
We are also putting together stg 1 and 2 low compression motor setups. pistons, rings, rods, bearings, seals. the works.
A fully built LC motor is a great compliment to a stg 4 blower!Leave a comment:

For which kit?

maybe a stupid question, but, how badly does fuel economy suffer during normal driving with a S/C? i am getting about 23MPG with my S52 with mixed city and highway driving. am i looking at getting like 20MPG, or 15?Leave a comment:

The stage 3 adds a water injection system, our 8 rib pulleys with our dual ball bearing idler pulley made from billet aluminum, Larger injectors and a Porsche meter.
Stg 2 would be around 390 at the crank.
Wheel hp is 20% less.Leave a comment:

I have a super slow TURD 328iC w/ a hardtop...
What kind of power can I expect? 1996 model year. Like get close or pass E36 M3 power/speed/accel?Leave a comment:

What does the stage 3 consist of?
st 2 420 crank- 340 wheel.
st 3 505 crank - 420 wheel.
The RMS kit doesn't really compare to AA. RMS makes the big power.
Here's a picture of an s50 swapped e30 with an RMS kit. The brackets are the old style though. RMS has a new bracket design.
RMS also has very very good tech support.Leave a comment:

This kit is perfect for the stock compression pistons. If you raised the compression for an NA application then that's different.
Alright, well the difference between stages I and II is that stage II has the aftercooler, what's the difference between stages II and III, performance wise, how is the extra power made? Also, what's the price difference?
Seems like about $1k difference between stages I and II, can the same difference be expected between II and III?
Is there a website to buy through rather than ebay that gets you the same price?
We do not have the stage 3 on the eBay store yet. I am not sure what it consists of yet. I'll ask tomorrow and find out. I believe it includes low comp pistons along with some other engine goodies. I will verify this tomorrow. I'll also get you a stage 3 price. I doubt the same difference can be expected between 2 and 3.
We have not yet decided if the price will stay the same. For now it is a limited time thing.
Thanks for all the great questions! Keep em comin.
