Well, well, well, I might have to grab one of these.

The $495 one looks real nice, and saves me the time and frustration of making my own. I'll definitely look into that by the end of the year. :D

I have one made from the heavier tubing. Great item. No need to weld the nuts or bolts, that sort of defeats the purpose. Rear seats can fit, but as stated 'they will be tight and misshaped after.' Also, you should not use your backseat for passengers ever, if you have a bar in anyway.

Then your car becomes Kurt Russel's Deathproof mobile. :-P

Anyone stupid enough to sit in the back of a car with that set-up would be asking for it anyway.

why does the euro stop site still not work right? its been malfunctioning for a long time now.
not to shit on euro stop, but auto power has a list of distributors at there web site. if you can find some one near you you can save the shipping cost. $125 or what ever it was sounds like a lot to me.

No shop I know of will keep these on their shelf as they are built to order I believe, and nearly all will be forwarding the freight charge to the buyer. Thats how their 'vendors' up here do it. I think freight on mine was about 160 or more. So 125 shipping is actually a better deal.

$125 shipping on a bolt in cage is a great price. Cost me nearly 1/2 that in gas just driving around town in my truck to get all the materials needed to make mine.

125 is not a great price... I have shipped bulkier boxes, freight for much less. 125 is an accurate UPS price... Why do all the cages have the same shipping price even though they vary in weight/size drastically?

Either way I am interested if the OP ever responds.

Most bars and cages from Autopower are made once ordered... that being said we have a mixed batch of cages and bars in stock ready to ship a.s.a.p. from our shop at discounted pricing;)
