yeah, with your response about being fairly easily, I pictured the bolt
but still, hearing things like danger makes one worry and want to be sure.
I mean, if they are ball, then that would mean everyone with stock bolts and aftermarket wheels are dangerous.
hmmm. mayhaps they are cone. and I don't have to buy another set of lugnuts. 8)
Yeah we would much rather be safe than risk someones safety. So now that , that question is answered, you won't need another set of lugnuts to swap wheels. :D

They are a Rockwell C scale 25 hardness. Which translate to the Grade scale right above 8.
As for theft detection the lugs with these kits use a 14mm allen drive and come with the key. So that is pretty good theft protection right there, not many people carry, or even have , a 14mm allen socket. We can get lock sets, with 1 lock lug per wheel, for an additional $10 for the set. However these locks are only in the chrome finish.

It looks like you just put the allen bit into a common socket size on your wrench and it becomes a 14mm allen head socket for tightening the lug bolts.
I think the smaller allen key helps to screw the lugs into the hub. The lugs probably are keyed for it on the hub end.
The two nuts are set up to jam against each other to torque each lug into place. The Loctite holds everything in place.
I've been looking for something good quality like this and priced well.....
I heard that Kosi's have a small hole size for lug nuts and some splined drive nuts do fit. Do you know if it would fit in tight applications like this?
