Recaro-to-E30 seat adapters - Group Buy

After the success of our last batch of E30 Recaro adapters, I have received PM's from numerous members requesting sets to purchase. I apologize if I haven't answered back PM's, Andrew and I have been trying to gauge the interest in doing another run of them. Judging from the amount of PM's I've gotten (about a dozen), I'd say the interest is there.

Based on that, we've decided to do another run of them. We'll do as many as there are buyers for, but the amount of buyers will determine how long it will take us to get them fabricated. Doing this when we have the spare time, even making the last 4 sets took a long time, just because of the amount of cutting, finishing and welding required for each set. If we get enough people committed to buying sets this time, we will make a dedicated effort to get them completed quickly and when we promise them.

These adapters will allow the installation of aftermarket Recaro seats into the E30, utilizing the stock E30 floor brackets. All necessary hardware is included with the purchased kit. They were designed for the installation of MkII VW Recaros initially, but we found that they worked with ALMOST all aftermarket Recaro seats. Before making a commitment to a set of brackets, we ask that you please submit a hi-resolution photo of the underside of your seats, along with measurements of the bolt holes in relation to each other via e-mail to myself at eurospeed88@gmail.com

Price of the bracket kits is $150 shipped via Priority Mail in the US. International shipping will be available, for an extra cost. The price is for 2 sets of brackets, allowing the installation of TWO seats into an E30. There are 4 brackets total, and hardware for installation of both seats. You may also purchase one pair of brackets, for the installation of ONE seat for $70 shipped.

Please PM me for further information if you are interested in purchasing. I will post pictures of the brackets hopefully tomorrow.

It depends on the bolt pattern. Get me some pics of the underside of the seats, with measurements of the holes, and they might.

Hmm, I wonder if my seat would sit lower than it currently does with these...

I will take pics of the underside with measurements when the Evo 8/9's arrive. And I will send to you to further evaluate if they are feasible with this GB.
