    Feeler: RX7 caliper/Corrado rotor kit

I can make the brackets for this kit in either steel or 6061 T6 aluminum.

I have made well over 3000 brake brackets from aluminum in the past 10 years with ZERO failures of the bracket itself. Occasionally someone will overtighten the bolts and strip the threads, but that is rare and is fixed by using a helicoil insert. They're strong enough that I'd put them on my mothers car without any worries.

I'll make them in whichever material the customers want.

As the rotors have to machined to fit the hubs, that adds a little to the cost.

If you are interested in this kit, add your name to the post.

I'll have more info on the cost the first week of September.

I'm interested. But can I just get the bracket?

Curious to see how much it will cost.

Is there no other rotor that will fit? Will kind of be a pain to get rotors machined each time.

If you make the brackets a separate option, you will get a lot more customers. The design is out there, it's just a matter of taking the print-out to a machine shop and paying for it.

I'll have mine done soon. :D

Yes I'll sell the brackets by themselves if I make them.

Won't know the cost until Sept 1 or so.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a similar rotor that will work without machining the hub hole larger to fit...

Would this be a plug and play kit?

                      Maybe offer staged kits?

I know it can be a hassle for some to resource the brake line adapters while some would like the convenience of already machined rotors.

Another possibility would be to see how much interest there is in custom ducted backing plates since most people take off the stockers to fit the new calipers.

Personally, I would like a stage 4(or 5) kit that is complete with custom backing plates as well.

Of course all of this is a moot point if the price doesn't satisfy the cheap R3V crowd. ;)

Also potentially interested, depending on price.
