DO NOT USE RED NAIL POLISH OR RED SHARPIE.

Just mask everything off so only the needles are exposed. I painted them with red nail polish the first time and it sucks.

It comes out way better and I've tried all 3 methods. I'll post up pictures soon.

Also, I recommend not taking the needles off unless you have spares just in case. Ask how I know.
