I've already looked into making less than the 10 sets of brackets as far as my profits go and it just doesn't make economic sense.

I have to pay the CNC mill programmer a fixed rate for the Solidworks program, plus the attendent costs of material and the machine time to make the parts.

When it's all said and done, the amount of $ I'd have to charge is well above what it appears most want to pay for the brackets.

A pair of brackets that I make in large quantities for other applications go for $160 retail; for a GB I usually drop that down to $125 if I get a minimum of 10 orders.

I wish I could just make the brackets and wait for orders to come in, but with the economy being what it is I have to use my capital to make the products I sell the most of.

I will extend the deadline until the end of the week if that would encourage more participation.

I can also make the rotors available if people want to get the brackets made themselves; I use the Corrado rotors in several kits now and can easily have them machined to the proper hole size.

Glad to hear you're going to let this run a bit longer, if this doesn't work out, I'd still be interested in the rotors :)

Status update? If this isn't happening I have other stuff I'd like to spend the cash on.

I spoke to Brian earlier and we still only had five guys...something tells me that we will be getting refunds soon.

Well this looks like this isn't going to go. Only 5 of the participants sent payments, and I can't justify the costs with that number. I'll be issueing refunds today to those that sent in the payments.

Thanks to those who expressed interest, perhaps another time or different project.

I would also be interested if you DO decide to go ahead.

Either way I am wondering, what year vehicle the rotors need to be front and what modification needs to be done to the rotors.

                    Thanks,
                    Matt

89-91 Corrado G60 rotors, centric hole opened to 66mm...I have 10 sets of rotors that I was going to do for the buy. I can still make them if anyone wants a pair.

Brian, That'd be like $130 shipped right?

Yeah I wish I had the ability to do that it would save a lot of $ that I spend on first time parts...
