50 a fender is pretty much par for the course. Nothing unreasonable about it.

Ary, just to clarify, you posted it would be about $75/arch on an e30, that makes it $300 for all 4. How do you account for the difference?

$200 for rolling on all 4 and $300 for the rolling and pull job. Try and keep up. :)

The fender job on that Bauer was not done by just rolling the lips flat. There is a lot more work into those. Am I right?

I didn't want to assume anything, but I had a feeling the Bauer fenders were much more involved then a simple 'roll' job...thanks for clarifying.

In case you guys didnt know.
That price is not bad at all. I would say average.
Average quote i have recieved is about $80 dollars an hour.
And They say it usually takes about 3 hours.
But then again those are shops.
You can always rent a fender roller from someone and risk doing it yourself.

I used to work at Valvoline and we charged 99.99 just to replace a serpentine belt. If you want to talk about ridiculous, thats ridiculous. $200 for body work isn't. I'm not gonna pay it, as i don't pay for any car work, i do it all myself. but I'm sure someone with money that is too scared to do it themselves would. just like people that don't change their own oil.

whoa whoa whoa, i was defending the Op, not hating on him. He has to charge prices like that, its a friggen shop. My point was simply that people were complaining about the price because they can do it themselves for $xx.xx amount.

                          Sorry if i was unclear.

The fenders on my 318iS and project 327i are pulled. I bought the 318iS with the fenders rolled and pulled (Very well mind you) and was like, "Well fuck, now I have to do it to the fast one!" - $300 for pulled fenders is really not that expensive. And of course he wont insure the paint. It's BODY WORK. What don't you do on say, fresh paint? Start beating and pulling on the sheet metal. So if you're looking at just a flattening of the lip, there's plenty of DIY's around that you can do on decent paint. If you want to stretch and pull those fuckers, do it pre-paint.

Good luck with your service, OP. Great examples! Glad to see my 318iS was done right as it looks as good as the examples.
