    2 piece 280mm rotors...

I can make up a 2 piece version of the Corrado rotors for $400/pair if anyone is interested. I use the 280mm rotors for other kits and can easily modify the center hats to work on the E30 hub.

This is an interesting project you have there. I am sure a few members will be interested. Make sure you replicate the VW rotor offset to the 0.1mm and use high grade rotors.

Will they be 6 or 8 bolts? Will the hats have a set screw?
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

I can duplicate the VW rotors, with the exception of making the hat face in the correct thickness to cover the hub centric. I'll put the set screw hole in for those who don't know what a lug nut is for :)

I typically use 8 bolts to attach hat to rotor with the bolts threading into the hat. This size rotor will use 1/4-20 bolts. Been making them this way for almost 10 years with ZERO failures, even on dedicated track cars.

The rotor will be directional vane design to stay cooler as well.

The friction rings are usually around $95 each. Here's the link to the pic...

One thing that we usually do for this type of rotor is make it thicker to use the 1" Wilwood calipers. This gives a lot of extra friction surface thickness so they practially never wear out under normal use. I've had several race teams use 1 set for 3 years before asking for a replacement disc.

Retail pricing for these rotors is $440/pair in plain form. I'll offer them for $375/pair to the E30 community if we can get at least 5 people interested.

I'll have a pair ready next week that I'm going to use on my car. I'll take pics of them with the Wilwoods once they are on...
