It works just like newer BMW’s, when you close your driver’s door, it keeps the the lights on, and then slowly fades out over a period of about 30-45 seconds.

It has an added feature that when you turn the key, it dims down the light quicker, so that you can start driving. Anyone that had driven a newer BMW knows this feature. It adds a really cool lighting effect, and is very useful at times. Like when you need to read a map real quick.

Can I use this on another car other then the e30? I would love to get this on my SUV that SHOULD have had this feature but doesn't.
If so I might take two plus a temp sensor next payday (friday)

Well - on e30's there really is no install - all you have to do is plug it in of course.

(But to answer your question - it does work on all cars. I'll PM you the instructions for installing it in other cars. It's fairly easy to add to any car as you'll see)
