Some of r3v's members have e36 M3s or e36 cars. I came up with an affordable rear brake upgrade. If you have an e36 M3, you can keep your stock rear discs, and simply fit the one-piece brackets and Dynapro calipers. If you have an 36 racecar and want to upgrade the rear brakes, simply get M3 rear rotors. You will loose the handbrake as the e36 M3 drums are 180mm vs 160mm for the regular e36.
Cost is $499.00usd + pads. You get a pair of Dynapro calipers, pair of zinc plated steel brackets, and hydraulic fittings allowing to reuse your own brake lines. Pads are extra. Also, the brackets are available separately for $180usd if you already have the Dynapros or Dynalite calipers.
