MarkD M42 chip - what happened?

    Is this still gonna happen?

Was there ever a side-by-side comparison with the Conforti chip?

PS: Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Have a look at the thread in General Technical about the chip - it's quite informative. I have the chip and love it. I can't say what the improvements are in the way of actual figures because I haven't had the car dyno'd myself but I can say that either way, my iS has improved HEAPS with the addition of this chip. Take a look at the thread and/ or PM Mark (or if you would like a first hand opinion, PM me) regarding the chip.

        Hope this helps,

        Pete

i know that the chip is available... I was talking about the group buy.

I just like group buys, I'm easily persuaded by them, like informercials.

Well if there is going to be a group buy, i'm up for it. But i am thinking about ordering mine in the next few days. What are we gonna save on a group buy ? Like $15 or something ?

I think they have a group buy going on all E.A.T. chips in bimmerforums.

well I was curious because originally, I think Mystical was trying to get us a deal for $175 shipped if we got 5 people.

I bought it through mark for $230 CAD. After the conversion it's like $195 shipped. That's a really good deal compared to a JC chip for $250 plus shipping. Don't wait for a group buy to save a couple bucks, just pm mark and help him out.

yup. OK for the big tuners, but thats bullshit on smaller companies that are actually using valuable time to make products for the e30.......

If there is a group buy on an m42 chip anywhere, I would be interested.

It's a great deal at the price listed on my website and it works very well. Maybe that now some people here are running it there will be more interest, if I get 5 people wanting to buy, I'll take $15 off.

sorry if this is too off topic but I didn't think it warranted a new thread, I was just curious what happened to the 93 octane m42 chip. I thought Mark was making m42 chips for 91 and 93 octane and some people argued for the 92, and now there is only 92? will there be a 93 octane m42 chip in the future? thanks
