    Massive 300x21mm now 22mm thick

In order to continuously improve its line of products, the 300x21mm two-piece discs found in the Sport kit will now be available in a slightly thicker spec. Not only they are still with directional vanes to improve cooling, but, from 21mm (0.81"), their thickness increases to 22mm, at the same price as before. Owners of any version of Sport kit can upgrade to the newer spec when the rotors are ready, which should be early July. Pictures to be posted soon.

Thicker rotors allow to absorb bigger heat bursts, and therefore reduce the heat-induced stress cracking. These rotors are cast and machined in the US. So, no cheap Taiwanese parts.

Thanks all for supporting Massive brakes and accessories.

On another note. Some e36-e46-e90 14" and 15" kits will be available with AP Racing calipers.

Most likely they will be shipped directly to you from Wisconsin. I don't think I'll even go to Calabogie this year. When Ottawa chapter asked me to instruct, I asked the chief instructor to make sure I can give rides to my 17 year old son who loves track days. I asked several times and had no answer...

Now is too late to get a decent room for my son and I, even if they agreed.

        Maybe next year.

well I'll be running pit lane, so if you do end up coming you should have no worries about getting out on the track with your son riding along.

Are these the UL or HD rotors?

Is the slotting standard or optional?

I haven't used Wilwood's UL rotor for over two years because of the non-optimal fitment with pads. These are better than HDs as they are 1mm thicker. Slotted is how the first batch will be offered at $30 extra per set.

Here are the first shots of Massive's unique 300x22mm rotor. Rotor sells for $105.00usd with slots, while Wilwood's own are $140.00usd each, even though they are only 21mm thick (0.81"). At 1mm thicker, Massive's new rotor can absorb even bigger heatbursts and last longer.
