Mark D Chip for 1991 318is

Mark, I have access to 94 Octane right by my house...but if I have a 93 octane chip, would it be harmful to use 91 if I go on a roadtrip somewhere and can't access 93/4?

octane booster is what $7 a bottle? just keep a spare bottle in the trunk and if you take a road trip you're covered.

Also: anyone know what the gain is over just stock?
I looked on his website but couldn't find any numbers....

the 91 octane chip should get you around 12 hp at the crank over stock.

I have the Dinan chip currently for my m42.

What gains would i expect if i were to compare the Dinan to your 91 octane chip?

I don't know how it compares to mine. They had some older versions which only had WOT maps changed but some years back they started modifying other maps. (or somehow making some chips which had other maps changed) I am quite sure that my chips will still be better anything from Mountain Dew.
