The piece we manufacture is just like the OEM. You can either use factory brackets or make your own mounting.

      Thanks,
So it comes with the metal frame those brackets mount on to? The brackets are the easy part.... The frame is the hard part. How about you show us how it's mounted. Or show pics with said brackets attached.

This is part of the reason I won't buy from you. I have asked multiple questions regarding the air dam, and own two originals plus frames. My thing is this. If it won't take the metal frame (which is uber rare) the product isn't worth squat. You would have to either screw through it, or fully customize the back end. You won't show pics of the back after several requests.
I want to believe in you products man, but you won't address important questions.
Here's another question. Are there tabs on the sides of the air dam so it will screw into the splash guard? You do realize the 87 splash guard is different right?
            Here's the frame.

Here's another picture o how the other side of the brackets mount. Does that tab exist? If not, your customers are sol on a direct fit replacement part.

He did say "you could use factory brackets or make your own"

Which lends me to believe they do not supply the brackets.

^ True... as stated in our previous post the exterior looks just like the OEM part but the inside has no mounting brackets. You or the body shop can fabricate necessary brackets to mount.

Cool. Lets see detailed pics o the back then . Will the FRAME mount up. Are the mounting points for the frame there?
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Why can't you just take a pic of the backside of the valence?

No? His car was swapped to plastics, but the rest of the body is early model. The plastic bumpers would have been trimmed to fit.

$225 + $145 for shipping? For that price, I would expect the part to arrive instantly via unicorn in a velour box lined with puppy ears

FYI I got a temp ban for thread crapping on this exact subject
                            Tread lightly.

I have a set of factory mounts but recently bought a car with a factory IS front valance, It is tech screwed and fender washered to the underside of the bumper, using only the side mounts and seems to be fine. It was done this way by the previous owner, I recently did a bumper tuck and ended up doing the same thing with better hardware and better fitiment and its bitchin....

My fear ts that in a slight collision things will get damaged without the brackets.

I think DTM would be able to market these further if he could find an acceptible replacement light and mounting brackets though...

I get it, but I'm not crapping. I am merely asking to see the rear of the product before purchasing. What op fails to grasp is this. I will purchase the item if it is presented in a way that makes me confident in its design. I'm not just going to invest $300 plus on his word.
