Also a question, isn't the small gear for VDO and Moto the same? I took out the metal bushing, and this small gear still won't fit

Yes the drive gear is the same. It takes some persuasion because its a tight fit and we do not want that one slipping. Make sure to use grease to help it on there.

Send back the vdo units and place an order for the motometers and we will get it out for you today. Would you like us to send the discounted paypal invoice?

Yes you can. Ship it back for a refund. We can send a invoice for the motometer gears (there is a difference in price between motos and vdo units)
