    GB Feeler on HID kits

I'm sure many of you wouldn't mind getting some HID kits, so just seeing how many people would be in a group buy is set up.

HID kit that I have in my mind is from Velocitygetter:

The HID kit comes with a 2Year replacement warranty (1year on bulbs)

Choice of 4300k or 6000k (i assume no one wants anything higher than that).

    4300k

    6000k

    PRICE:

If we can get 10+ people, price will be $310 CAD (approx. $260USD)

+ $14 CAD shipping within Canada
+ $16 CAD shipping in USA

Pick up will be available for those in Vancouver, BC.

Let me know if you guys would be interested, and if you need anymore info.

what about McCullins or whatever.... they come w/ a wiring harness that hooks up both ballasts to your battery.

Most Hid bulbs are 35watt, which is less power than stock 55w bulbs.

Please atleast read up on the topic if you dont know what your taking about before posting again.

                Sorry for hi-jacking your thread.

you don't know crap then cause when they are lighted its a lot higher wattage than when they run!! even higher than 55watts. NOOB!!!

The Wiring Harness offers protection for your car and truck's electrical system. The harnesses help make sure the power to the ballasts will come directly from the battery and not from your light harness. In HIDs the initial charge to the ballast is over 50W before the running power wattage takes effect (35W). This might not have an effect on your car the first couple of years but to help keep your car's wiring safe in the future, we recommend an HID kit powered by your battery.

A single harness powers both: drivers and passenger side ballasts. They hook on to your cars battery terminals and are equipped with a 20A fuse to prevent blown fuses in your fuse box and filter the amount of power thats used by the ballasts. The harnesses are made with industrial strength rubber wrapped wiring and placed into a main rubber outside shell to make them water and heat resistant. They are plug and play and do not take long to install but will help you save thousands of dollars in the future.

It requires a higher voltage to ignite them, this is what the ballast is for. It takes 1-5 secounds.

You sound like some fag who sells these "Harnesses" That I've seen people use with high wattage halogen bulbs, only to have it fuck up the electrical system even more.

The eletrical system in the e30, is perfectly fine. Maybe if it was a Japanese car made in the 80s then.

Well look, umnitza carries the Prolumen HID for $275 and those have LIFETIME warranty. I'd rather set up a GB with them.
