I really doubt you can get a hood in the price range that I'd want, but I'm interested.

I am interested in this. I was planning on buying one in december anyway but a GB would be nice if we can get people to commit.

tell me what you get for a price.
i don't care about weave quality or anything just weight and durability since I'm going to paint it my body color anyway.

Does anyone have a picture of the misalignment/defect that was complained about?

I think these are normally like $400-$500 new, right? If the price was really special, say like $300 - $350 I would seriously consider getting in the group buy.

They fit horrid, and painting them bodycolor isn't even a remote option because of the fit.

The entire hood is shrunk, and warped. It has 1/2in gaps on either side where it would meet the fenders. The entire hood is twisted/warped, and the passengers side rear corner is bent down.

The mold is fucked up, yet they continue to churn that shit out.

A GB on IE's fiberglass hoods would be better. Like if we got enough people that they'd dock off the shipping fee...I dunno, just a thought because I want one.
